Newsletter Nr. 8, June 2009

Dear reader

It's always amazing to see how many doors close and open at the same time. Right now we do everything possible to receive donations by asking companys, foundations and many more but most times we have to face bad news. But on the other hand we have good news by getting to know many new project partners. We are looking forward to the upcoming season with a variety of exciting workcamps. Also a lot of volunteers will go abroad to do voluntary work. Those are good news which motivate us to continue with our job.

Additional workcamp: life on a farm

On the farm Bühlmatt, lifestyle will be quite simple for volunteers. They will be accommodated in cabins, have to use a pit latrine and a fountain to wash themselves. No extras, no luxury, back to nature. Together with the family volunteers will build new fences for the animals and do some reforest works. The farm is situated in Teuffenthal, a small village about 10km east of Thun in the Canton of Berne.
