On all projects we need volunteers to co-ordinate, to help the project run smoothly. The co-ordinators act as a link between the host organisation, the international volunteers and Workcamp Switzerland.

Requirements for Campleaders:

You like to take over responsibility
You already co-ordinated a camp or have been participated in a camp
You are between 23 and 33 years old
You speak (Swiss) German and English

Please notice, we can only appoint campleaders for Swiss Camps. In a one-to-one appointment we will discuss about your tasks in detail.

Valuable experience

Campleaders benefit from co-ordinating. These special experiences strengthen people skills. Usually a Co-Leader will support the work of a camp leader. For them apply the same requirements as for volunteers, except paying the registration fee.

For your voluntary work you will receive the Swiss certificate "Sozialzeit-Ausweis". With this, your work as campleader can be approved as internship or as enclosure to a letter of application.

Co-Leader tasks

You do not meet all camp leader criteria but like to take over certain responsibility for the group? Become a co-leader! Help the camp leader in co-ordinating, without bearing the full responsibility. Task will be splited accordingly.

You do not have to pay the registration fee. To you apply the same conditions as for volunteers.
