The solar project TiLOO is based in the Gambia, West Africa. With the slogan „COOK WITH THE POWER OF THE SUN – SAVE MONEY & FIREWOOD“ the organisation has the aim to promote cooking and baking with solar energy in the Gambia. Volunteers will help the gambian project leader during the daily work. Another task of the Volunteers is Public Relations and Marketing activities. There will be other jobs such as the cooperation with the media, the organisation of events and public presentations of the solar cookers and the conception of new possibilities to inform the local people about the use of solar energy and how to cook and bake. Additional the Volunteers are coordinating the cooperation with the tourist offices (we are offering tours for tourists).

When it comes to office work there are jobs suchs as control of the expenses, to create the Newsletter and to update the website. We want to point out that all the work is done in close cooperation with the gambian project leader. Togehter with the project management in Switzerland Volunteers need to do fundraising to find suitable sponsors for the project.
