In general workcamp organisations try to avoid additional costs for volunteers during the camps. But this does not apply for all organisations. Especially poor countries ask for additional project fees, which is mentioned in the project description.

Placement

We will inform you about the status of your placement via email. Although some camps are marked as "free" in our search engine, this is not a guarantee.

Places in workcamps are assigned by certain regulations. Organisations want to have an international group, and hence do not accept more than 2 or 3 volunteers from the same country. The bigger your choice on workcamps, the better your chance to be placed.

In case it is not possible to place you in any of your desired workcamps, your application will be cancelled and registration fee is refunded. Or we can look for an alternative after having talked to you.

You want to apply for more than one workcamp? Please mention that on your application form in the field "remarks".

Confirmation

If you have to re-confirm a project, is written in the infosheet, which you will receive before departure. Please stick to those regulations, otherwise your application might be cancelled and registration fee decays.

Cancellation

In case you can not participate please let us as soon as possible know. Registration fee can be refunded up to one month before camp start and only by 50%. For last-minute cancellations we will not refund the registration fee. A replacement can participate instead of you - this has to be confirmed by us in advance.
Only in reasonable events (in case of illness we need an attest) it is possible to rebook without additional costs arising.

A cancellation, after registration procedure, from our side can be effective in case of workcamp cancellation. We will inform you as soon as possible and refund your registration fee. We assume no liability for any additional costs related to the cancelled project.

On your request we can rebook to another workcamp. With our partners we will try to offer an alternative. But we can not guarantee to offer an equivalent project.

Obligations

By sending your application, you agree to our as well as the partner general terms and conditions. You are responsible for booking the travel yourside and for any insurance related to your trip and the workcamp. Inform yourself, before leaving, of the latest entry regulations, safety information, or on subjects such as vaccinations, visa, etc.
